Have seen few discussion threads with aftermarket gauges in stock gauge panel. Here are couple of examples:

Have posted a similar thread trying to figure out what all is needed for a non-turbo car:

There is also another thread that i was not able to find again where a fellow moved stock fuel level gauge to stock boost gauge location. Was a pretty crude fabrication but a great idea.

Is it possible to use a turbo tach w/boost gauge in a non-turbo cluster and recalibrate/mod both so that tachometer is showing correct RPM and stock boost gauge is now a fuel level gauge? The face of gauge will need to be re-designed, but that won't be a problem.
