gaskets and hoses!

i'm collecting stuff to do the 1G TB swap into a 2G and removing cruise control. this is what i have so far:

1G turbo TB
throttlebody shaft seals
2g non-cruise cable

i can't seem to find many places that sell the gasket that goes from the 1g TB to the intake manifold. I need it as a guide to port the 2g manifold flange. anyone know where i can get one? should i just make my own?

anyone know the hose size of the 2 coolant lines from the TB off the top of their head?

I looked on vfaq but didn't see any links to removing the cruise control. What all is involved? Mine is shot and I really don't feel like trying to fix it, I'm too use to having a car w/o cruise.

For 40 bucks and about 2 hours time, I'd have to agree!
I finally got to do this today. Was a bit of a pain to reach some of the bolts (I didn't remove battery or TB). Got my hands nice and scraped up.



Throttle response is sooooo much better, not to mention more space in the engine compartment. I depressed the pedal as i normally do when driving and started flying down the block. Guess I'll have to get used to it .
