Gas in oil system? Need help

Ok I just got a 91 gsx that has had some issues starting so I got it cheap and figued hey its a project. Anyways every time I try to start it the car reeks like gas. I pulled the dipstick and I have gas in the oil. Im kinda at the stand still as I have never seen this before in any car.

usually there is no gas in the oil unless the car is flooding the piss out of itself which could be many things. I would change the oil right away before i try to turn it over again. The last time i had that happen was when i was running a huge holley carb on my truck and it locked the bottom end up since it thinned out the oil

I think one of my injectors is open all the time.

Flooding a cylinder with fuel can definately cause it to leak down past the rings. Have you done a compression test? Do you know the rings aren't bad? Easiest way to tell if the rings are bad is with a compression test followed by a leak down test. Search for both you'll find 100,000 plus threads.

my camaro had a leaky fuel rail and the fuel would sit, pool up, and eventually leak down to the oil. since it's not a V engine it's less likely, but you definitely could have some leak on the rail or injectors. maybe it's time to tear it apart and see what's up. definitely change the oil before messing with it though.

Yea I think an injector is staying open at all times. Yea I am going to change the oil when I get some new 450s
