gas door relocation

I've looked all over for a picture I saw along time ago where someone moved the gas tank door from the side behind there tail light and the tail light just opens does anyone have the picture or knwo anything about this mod. please help really want to do while I'm doing the talon-eclipse 97-99 conversion.

I think autoloc does the conversion honestly.....let me search around for a lil bit and see what i can come up with

They dont have it, i tried dearching a few places. Most everyone has custom brackets and latch systems. Id say if you really wanna do it relocate it to int he hatch, but that woudlnt be too safe. But im gonna keep lookin for ya...im not giving up

I think it's "from" skilled bodywork people. I've not heard of a kit for it, there's too much metalworking to do.

No, you do not want the filler in the hatch, nor in the hatch area. Keep it outside.

Like i also mentioned bad idea. But i know for hte lder cars there are kits, i just cant find em, However you do have to go to a bodyshop and have them weld in the parts of the kit due to the metalwork involved. Unless your a strictly show car, dont do it.

i had plans to put it inside the trunk, a couple shops told me they wouldn't and shouldn't do it because its unsafe. i then thought about the passenger side door jamb, looking into this because it seems to be an easy path for the gas neck.

thats exactly the mod I was looking for I've seen it on a few hondas a couple of times and saw those picks thanks if it's not safe and gonna set my ass on fire then nah ain't even gonna try that but oh whats a couple of flames and a 10k car.
