yesterday we just replaced the driver's front half shaft (CV axle) on our '96 Talon - the vibration going down the road at highway/freeway speeds is now gone, but there is a humming noise now I didn't notice before. I am wondering if maybe the axle nut got tightened too tight? Is there a torque spec for that? I couldn't find one in the books for a FWD - I think it did say 30# for AWD, but that doesn't sound tight enough? We did loose a LITTLE bit of transaxle fluid, and I'm going to pick some up today hopefully if I can find it at the stealership.

Nobody knows the torque specs for the axle nut on the FWD????? I really don't want to burn out my bearing if it is indeed too tight........
