My car makes a hellatious noise when i turn left and sometimes when i idle. Its not a belt squeeling but it kinda sounds like a tuning fork @ a middle note. Like if your were to hit the dust shield with a hammer. Its coming from the drivers side front. Any ideas on where to start.
TIA
Mike

i have noise when i turn left also but it sounds like brakes when you need to change them.. Im changing them soon so ill see if that helps... As for your noise i have no idea....good luck.

Have you checked your CV joints? Another good thing to do- check your wheel bearings and regrease them

p.s. What I would do to single it out- Jack the front of the car up(support it good, ofcourse) turn the wheel all the way both ways and rotate/spin your tires and listen closely-listen to the outside by the wheel,@ the CV joint, and the tranny-

Good Luck~
