Hey,

I am wondering on what you guys do when you do a full coolant flush. I am pretty sure its still the factory diaqueen in there and i would like to switch coolants. Anyways, what i am talking about is not just filling the radiator with water after you drain it and then draining the water out again through the radiator then filling it back up with coolant. I am talking about the proper way to do this. Everybody seems to have a different thougth process on what actually fully flushes the whole coolant system and what doesn't. How to remove all the old coolant you have trapped in the block & heater core. Who has done it, and cut there heater core lines to install a back flush tee? Is it really a need to have to cut the lines to install this flush tee? I would rather not cut the lines to install a tee, its just one more place you will have to check down the road if you ever have a coolant leak. I would like to do this as clean as possible. So i can't have coolant hauling ass down the driveway like people do on youtube, since i live in a neighborhood with young kids and pets.

Thanks

Take it to a garage and get them tobuse there super cool machine and get it done in under 1 hour. Easier way then doing it your self as you will be pushed to get every thing out, and you will leave stuff at the bottom of places so with outpressure its pointless

I just drain the radiator, pull the thermostat and put a water hose in the thermostat hole and let it run for a while. The block will be full of water so you will just need to add less water when you put your coolant in.
