Full boost at 4500?

Ok, first gear hits full boost at 3 easily, but once I get into 2nd,3rd gear it won't fully boost until 4500 - 5000. Why, although I am relying on the stock "boost" gauge.

stock boost gauge is not accurate at all. you need to get an aftermarket gauge.

your BCS may be bad

boost control solenoid go here http://members.shaw.ca/dsm.1000q/Engineprimer/ and click on what year your car is then its in the bottom left quadrant. just start putting your mouse over each dot until you find the BCS. good luck

2G doesn't appear to have one

damn looks like they have a mbc installed on the 2g in that pic just look at the 1g picture it should be in the same area
