TrieD to post in Tech but couldnt so i hope i dont get yelled at. This is my first import build so im new to all the computer stuff. Car is all stock other then blocked off egr and Free Maf mod. Just got a Logger running MMCD. Noticed that my fuel trim are all 118% and do not change. I searched and i think it might not be going into "closed loop" But i seam to meet all the parameters. My O2 is reading like it should, i have 0 knock, only running 8 psi. The car idles a little low sometime, 500-650rpm, other times its 750-950. Im just trying to get a idea to what might be cause the ECU to think its lean, and why it wont switch to closed loop? thanks

I looked there but didnt find anything about my problem, i havnt got a wideband or a tuner yet. just the datalogger, wanted to get make sure everything was running right before i started upgrading and tuning, did a boost leak test a month ago before the logger. fixed a leak. then did another and didnt find any leaks.

I do have some FlG codes, i think the gienus before me just pulled out the CEL. The F: Fuel pump relay
B: Boost solenoid are on also S: PS Load Switch,A: AC Load Switch, I: idle switch. And sometimes the TDC, but TDC doesnt stay on just flashes every couple of min. I dont know is any of these cause my Problems, but is anyone can narrow it down i can sure use the help.

The fact that the trims read 118 indicate that the car is going into closed loop. If you watch the FTO2 you'll see it show the short term fuel trim whenever the ECU is in closed loop. It's gets averaged over time into the long term trims.

While your in closed loop you not really lean since the ECU is using the feedback from the O2 sensor to correct from what the ECU thought it needed fuel wise to hit 14.7:1 and what the sensor needed to switch at 14.7:1 That could be because the O2 sensor is aging, or the MAF is reading slightly less air, or the fuel injectors are not delivering exactly as much as expected.

The Flags your looking at are normal and they aren't the fault codes. Those are on another screen.

Thanks Steve, i Did a couple more pulls yesterday, turns out i have a little knock 10-14 full boost thirds gear, then i did a 4 gear pull and i got knock counts as high has 40. Could this be caused by the possibly bad o2 or maf? Also I thought that the L/M/H trims should all be diffrent and very from day to day. mine are all constant?

Oh and where can i find the faults on MMCD 1.8 on a palm reader?
