fuel tank issues

Okay so I'm a newbie I just got my eclipse as my first car about a week ago it was owned by my uncle so I know most of the history on it. But its been sitting for about 10 maybe 11 years with aalmost a full tank of gas. Long story short I decieded to replace fuel pump then I started syphoning all the old gas out, there is a ton of stuff inside from the stale gas and in the morning I plan to drop the tank a clean it by hand. I was wondering if there was a way to clean it with out taking the tank off and if not what's a good way to do it when its off. I got some sea foam but I plan to use after tank is clean. I'm a up coming mechanic so I have my knowledge here and there about cars so bare with me.

After u clean it use a product called red koat to keep all the rust and old buildup from ever happening again.. as for ckeaning the tank im not sure man

Thanks for replying. Ill take a look into that. A buddy of mine told me to put gas in it and run sea foam in it then once its done use sea foam again after filling up but I feel like that'd clog Injecters and stuff like that up from all the build up
