got a 90 awd. 14b, walboro 255, 3" turbo back, 3" gm maft v1.3.

Did some logs and finally got rid of knock and timing advance was really good. Injector pulse was high at 21.5-22.0ms. .86 or so o2. I know i need a fpr, but i was wondering if injectors would cure my high ipw problem? I have an option of ordering a fpr tomorrow or 550's. I kinda want safc first version. What do you think I should get next? fpr? safc? or 550's?? Im leaning toward fpr because my base fuel pressure is probably too high due to the 255lph pump.

Yes, you should get an adjustable fuel pressure reg and make sure you are running stock fuel pressure. Getting 550's would just complicate your current situation. You should fix things first (ie afpr) before adding more variables like 550's. Also you don't NEED a safc yet. What you do NEED is the latest maft chip, 2.01. 1.3 is pretty old, had some problems, and I would highly recommend upgrading. Has a little more fuel tune-ability too. After you get everything running properly, then look at some bigger injectors.

There were no "problems" with version 1.3 that I know of.

Larger injectors and tuning will bring your IPW down.
