Ok guys heres my problem. I now own a 99 mirage thats got my old setup swaped into it im running two 044 fuel pumps. i mounted them up today. i put a bluck head fitting in for the return line. I went to put the tank back up and she wouldnt go. the -6 ss line is geting pinched between the tank and the body. it looks like i wont be able to put the retun line into the top of the tank, Now im wondering if its not in the top will have problems when i fill my tank and what not also what would be a good place to put the bulk head fitting in thanks for the help guys!

I's there room for you to turn the fitting in another direction and maybe run a longer return line. Like to the rear of the car and around the tank. Pictures of the problem might help. Bigest problem with putting the return line in the side of the tank would be making sure it seals up well enough not to leak. I am pretty sure you could put the return line in the bottom of the tank and the pumps would force the fuel back into the tank just fine, it is the leaks you would have to be concerned with. Unless you had an AWD tank in your car then you will have other issues.

ill take some pics later. im going to find out if i have room if i have change the direction of the fitting but i doesnt look like it.
