Fuel Rail Vaccum Line ? on 95-99 Turbo

Hi there Dsm techs. I Have a 97 Gst that i bought with bad motor. Im in process of finishing it up.However i installed my Fuel rail tonight with my new 510cc injectors and the two lines on the far left of the fuel injector. one appears two be gas line return and the other small vaccum line i am unsure where it goes. I believe its suppose to go to the firewall to a lil solenoid and back to the intake. But where there should be a little solenoid there isnt. I believe they just had it plugged directly from the fuel rail to the intake. if anyone knows or could load a picture that would be great. and also if i need that solenoid or vaccum valve what is the part number so i could order right one. That would be the FPR vac line. Sorry I do not know a part number for the solenoid, but heres a picture.

I actually just replaced my fp line tonight too. I just went to o'reilly's and picked up a 6 ft. roll of 5/32 vacumm hose for $2.50 and it fits fine. Where is Ida Grove at?

Hello Thanks Spoolin98 for the picture. I thought i was missing somthing. Also I see that there are three lines on the FPR sensor with a T fitting. where does the third line on the T fitting go to for sure?

No problem. That picture is sort of misleading, notice the fpr vac line has blue striping on it. It is not the line that connects to the T fitting, that line is the one next to fpr line that connects to the intake manifold. Heres another picture to help. If you need more help than this, let me know.

hey thanks for the reply, ok now i see that the blue marked line goes from the fpr up to the sensor and then the line that goes from the intake up to the other side of that sensor has a t in it. is that for your boost guage? is that correct? Thats correct, the line that is T'd is for my boost gauge.

Hello Dsm Owners, Now that i know what part I need. I cannot find the 2 wires with the plug on it to plug into the FPR solenoid on the fire wall. I was hoping someone could tell me where it comes from on the wire harness in the engine bay or where at thru the firewall .I cant seem to find it.. Pictures and responeses will be greatly apprieciated. Thanks,Larry

Hello Dsm members, I have a 97 gst and the fuel pressure solenoid mounted on fire wall that has two vaccum lines conected to the fuel rail and the intake manifold. If someone could tell me the two color of wires on the plug that plugs into it.

also. the color of the other two solenoids mounted to the left of it the colors of the wires. Im having a very hard time figuring it out as the car was torn apart when i bought it and im gettin ready to start it finally after 6 months. Your help would be great thanks guys, Larry

I have the same problem with the vaccum line on the right hand side of the fuel rail theres 2 lines 1 is hooked up but i looked all over i cant find the second hose i couldnt really see in that pic where they came from i looked in those spots and didnt see it is there anybody can post a close pic of where both lines come from ? thank you
