fuel pump wiring?

hi guys
question;when installing a walbro 255 fuel pump do i leave the fuel pump wires the way they are right know(i did the fuel pump rewire mod on my stock pump)
or do i go back to the stock connections?
since the 255 is a higher flowing unit?

ps does anyone knows were to find a link to install a walbro 255 in a 1G fwd
the link for the 1G fwd at the faq locator doesnt work
is the install the same as the 2G fwd?

I thought I should have had it on my Backup manual CD but unfortunatly for some reason the link for that one points to the internet when most are actually on the CD like they should be. I fear the Vfaq is falling apart. Hell If I had all the missing stuff I'd offer to host it, I don't know who runs that wonderfull site but it needs some redoing so we can get back some lost information.

if you keep the rewire you will flow more fuel than without the rewire because their is more voltage going to the pump more volt=more fuel

but wont it harm the new pump since its allready a higher flowing unit when giving it more voltage?

The rewire just basicly puts the proper voltage to the fuel pump instead of a reduced voltage due to crappy wires.
