hello

well i installed a working walbro in my project car (gsx) cause i was told it was bad witch i thought i confirmed cause it would not turn on when i jumped it of the plug on the fire wall, but for some reason it still will not turn on even when i jump it from the firewall plug. i am stumped as to what could be stopping it from turning on. does any one have any advice on what i should check and try to fix this issue?

am i wrong thinking that even if the fuel pump relay is bad jumping it from the test jumper should still fire the fuel pump up?

The test connector is after the fuel pump relay so if providing power at the connector doesn't turn the pump on you have a problem between it and the pump.

If the connector had worked then the problem is before the connector, like with the relay, the ECU or the fuses.

Disconnect the connector by the pump and measure the power line to see if your getting battery voltage when the pump should be on. Check the ground to make sure it's working. If those check out, look at the pump assembly.

Break the problem down into steps and then test each one.
