Fuel pump spacer and O-ring?

I put my walbo 255 in today and upon removeing the stock pump I noticed that there was no o-ring or spacer on.

I installed my 255 with no o-ring or spacer either. Im feeling no ill effects, is it ok?
I have 6an feed and retrun if that matters

Who did you purchase the pump from? Usually the company will give you a kit but the retainer clip won't be a cream color. I bought mine from eXtremepsi and the clips were clear. You have to use the same spacer from the stock pump though. A good way to tell if there is going to be a problem is when the gas tank is full. If there is a leak or it starts to smell bad then yea...there is a problem.

no o-ring or anything came with my kit, its a walbro 255, my stock one didnt have anything on it either
