My fuel pump just went in my car and i need to get a new one. I was wondering what some of you guys feel is the best bang for my buck, and mabey where i could find one. I need to get it in asap. Thanks alot guys.

get a walbro 190 from sbr, 85 for the pump 8.95 for shipping, you dont NEED an fpr with it either, it will make tuning easier, but not a necessity... and also, they ship really fast, and you will not find a better shop too deal with

I have enough money to go far enough but i need something that wont require modifications. Ive seen alot of people mention the Walbro but at the same time is that good or just avg? becuase i have alot of motor upgrades and dont think a cheap one wouldlast long in my dsm?

190lph will be plenty for most. When you start getting into 700cc plus area then u might wanna stay away from it. I bought the 190 awhile go and am very pleased with it but it DOES whine. Just depends on how far your gonna go with your mods just keep in mind that a 255lph requires a afpr which is more money to be spent. Good Luck!

I have experience with both 190lph and 255lph. Neither of them made the famous "whine"; it was only audible if your head was next to the gas tank. Take your long term goals into consideration before going either route: 190 is safe with the stock FPR but you might overrun your stock FPR with a 255. (Although mine never did...and keeping in mind the stock pump is 90lph) Its best to figure it out now and save yourself another install down the road. Extremepsi.com is a great vendor for walbros too. Good luck.

well, I have a 190 walbro rewired, and -6an line from tnk to filter to rail, and I have almost no whine even when I have the radio and am looking for it, just barely audible at any rpm... maybe rewiring makes it less where it is getting the right amount of voltage, but I dunno

yea i feel the same way... you have to have your head to the gas tank to hear it....
I dont have mines rewired either so i dont know the effects after that though...
Maybe ppl just have noise in their speak wire transfering through the speakers because
mines used to do that bad, like everytime id rev the engine id hear an annoying hum in the speakers so its like the engine intereference was getting in there somehow...
i dont know if anyone knows what im talking about but it could be confused as being the fuel pump whine...
