I'm looking at a walboro 190 and a 255. And a few other pump kits.
What will work without redoing the fuel system?

I went with the 190, I was struggling to really figure out if wanted the extra volume with the 255 and do more mods now or find something that's good for the time being. While it will work, the 255lph will raise your fuel pressure. Unless you're trying to increase the engine's airflow, that is overkill and will result in a rich burn. That's the pump I previously suggested because you mentioned modifications. With just intake and exhaust, the 190lph is more than enough. If you're planning for internals and machine work, or a turbo, that's where you'd want the 255lph. I had a high compression engine with considerable camshafts and port work. Even then I probably could have run a 190lph. But I wanted to go larger to leave room for tuning and further airflow increases.
I maxed out the stock fuel pump before I had a way to tune. When I installed the 255lph, it was running very rich under load. I had to not only increase airflow but also dial in the injector dead times to get a desirable AFR. Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my other post but it was still a great references with actual numbers that, along with this, should lead you forward.
..
, but I want the car reliable as I drive it for now.
