I have a 90 talon. I bought the car with no tranny so I bought a trans and put in the car. Along with changing all hoses, belts, filters ect.. After putting the car all back together I have one wire plug leftover that I cant find out where it plugs. Everything works on the car but the fuel pump will not turn on when I turn on the ignition. I looked in the manual and it said to check a plug that is on the firewall right above the fuel filter and connect that directly to the battery to see if the pump works. And I found that the plug that is on the firewall is exactly the same as the one I had leftover and nowhere to plug it so I think it has something to do with the fuel pump. So I guess Im asking if anybody knows where this plugs or what is my problem. Thanks.

P.S. 1990 AWD 5- speed transmission for sale or trade.

unless the ECU see's a signal from the CAS - the f/p will not turn on.
Check the CAS - the ECU (leaky caps)

a 1 wire plug may be a idiot light connection - a pic would help.
