hey ive had no luck with the instuctions on the vfaq site as far as getting the two nuts loose using the flange wrench and soaking them in wd40 and pb blaster for 3 days. so i just improvised and took some photos so here goes my partial write up (everything i exclude is found of the vfaq site.

1 remove seat

2 remove the for screws that hold the cover on and the 5th one that hold down the electrical cord

3 unplug the white and black cords

4 cut this hose after you disconnect the other two. (not my photo and you want at lease 2.5-3 inches

5 remove the f.p assembly

6 attach metal extension into the hose and attach the "screw ring" and tighten.

7 install new f.p into the assembly

8 the gasket seal puzzled me yesterday and now ive got it. the flat part goes up and the fit it inside the tank around the rim it will leave a little extra that u just press inward ant it will fit.

9 under the car try to pull the other end of the hose out and atach the metal insert and the screw ring, the push it back up and pull through and place screw ring over the other end atach the two and tighten

that just put everything back to normal. o yea make sure you put the cap back on before you put back on the spliced hose. hope this help!!!!:D
