There is actualy 2 question here. 1st the major issue I'm having...
If you haven't seen any of my other posts, I've done the worst thing ever, I started with a 99 Spyder GS 2.4L Auto and dropped in a 4G63T 5speed in it... I used 2 donor cars here: the motor and all the sensors came out of a 95 TSi AWD the tranny, wire harnest & ecu came out of a 95 GST. I have spark but no fuel, asuming the fuel pump and all sensors are good. (both donor cars where running at time of donations) what can be wrong here. Also the fuel pump came out of the 95 TSi and replaced the 99.
The second question is, if there is no simple answer to the 1st, if I was to run a 12V source directly to the fuel pump with a fuse, either to an ignition side source or thru a switch, will this cause any problems?
I know there are a million posts out there talking about resolves for fuel pump issues, but I haven't seen any for this type of swap, most people are smart and started with a Spyder GST and drop'd a 6bolt in it.
