Lets say a guy (that's not me) rewired his fuel pump and some how this idiot (that's not me) crimped the main pos wire from the battery like a girl and it came aloose, would the runaway wire bounce around and cause his walboro to die. He checked if it worked by removing the pump and connecting it to the car battery, blue to pos and red to neg and nothing happened.

I'm waiting for a chick to get on the thread and be like what you mean like a girl LOL But yeah soder it together. Can't blame him cause I've done some weird stuff when i didn't have the money or materials to do stuff. But most the time i went back when i got the stuff and fixed my rig LOL

So the pump is not dead I'm an Idiot, my ecu's are fine I get spark but the pump won't pump, I just bought a 255 with AFPR and still it won't whine. I tested the pump again(did it right this time, last time involved a light tester, embarrasing you don't want to know)and this time it works but not when its plugged up.

It stopped working after I installed ARP's and 880cc injectors. I put the 440's back in aswell as the non chipped stock ecu but still nothing.

Here's a diagram I stole from a Neon forum. It's slightly different, but it gives you the basics:

You basically just need to:

1) Add the red wire. It can come from the alternator or the battery. (a fuse wouldn't hurt either)

2) Add the relay. (You should put this inside the car, where the wires go through the floor above the tank, and ground pin 85.)

3) Add the orange wire. (this will splice into the original wire* that you'll be cutting, that originally supplied power to the pump)

4) Connect the other end of the wire* you had to cut (the end that used to supply power from the fuel injection relay), to pin 86 of the relay.

The wires shown as blue and green are inconsiquential and can be ignored.

If you can properly identify the wire shown as black (ground from the pump) you may want to replace it with a heavier gauge wire that takes a shorter path to ground.
