I have a 92 tsi that I am having a fuel pressure problem with. It's stock except for a 3 in turboback and a bc at 13 psi. It ran completely fine until I put a 255lph walbro in it and kind of took the chance of overrunning my stock fpr. It ran decent at idle but bogged down when I drove it so I thought I needed an aftermarket fpr. I bought an aeromotive with a ss line kit and gauge and all I could manage to read was 20 psi with the vacuum line off and like 10-12 with it on, and the adjustment won't change anything. Put the stock pump back in and same thing. I iust changed the fuel filter and that didn't change anything. There are no leaks in the system at all. I'm just a little lost on what else it could be, any help is appreciated.

At 13lbs you didnt need a afpr or a 255 walbro on a stock turbo. It would of handled that all day stock. Sounds like you might being getting too much fuel now. I would reccomend putting everything back to stock and saving walbro and afpr for later modifications.

Take out your fuel rail and clean it along with the injectors and re-install and try them out. You might have accumulated debris in there.

Did you use a universal Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator like the one in the in the link below? This style has a replacable internal spring so it can be used for both carburated or fuel injected engines. Carburated engines usually only need 10 psi or less fuel pressure if they are naturaly asperated . To acheive the lower fuel base pressure, a lighter weight spring is used. If your regulator came with an extra spring (about 1 inch tall, 1/2 inch diameter), then you will need to install this to raise the base fuel pressure range so that it can be adjusted correctly for your application. To access the spring, you need to remove the four small allen head screws from the regulator and remove the top cover. The spring is under the cover. Install the heaver (stiffer) fuel injection spring and reasemble.
I used an Aeromotive FPR on a motor swap in a friends Camaro (fuel injected V6 to carburated V8), and used it to lower the pressure from the high pressure intank pump to 7 psi with the lighter spring.

I bought the kit for a 1g from extreme psi
Do you know what the Aeromotive part number is for your pressure regulator?
edit*
After looking at Extreme PSI's website, It looks like they are using an Aeromotive A1000 6an pressure regulator. (Aeromotive part number 13109) According to Aeromotive's installation instructions, the minimum fuel pressure with the vacuum line disconected should be at aleast 40 PSI.

Aeromotive said:
The fuel pressure adjustment range for the enclosed regulator is 40-75 psi.

Yeah that is the kit that I bought. The only things that I can think of is some kind of restriction in the fuel lines or maybe my injectors but other than that I'm pretty stumped.
