So after so major problems with my car lately I think I found a problem but I need some help figuring something out. A moderator on dsmsource helped me a lot with my DSMLink and it was still acting up. So about 15 minutes after a log I pulled the plug wires and the first one I pulled was soaked in fuel like it was up to the top and was flooded. So I came back inside to let him know that was a major problem, correct? Well my question is, when I went back outside to pull the rest to let them dry the others weren't soaked, they were relatively dry. It was only about 10-15 minutes after I pulled the first one. Anyone know what could be the problem here? My plugs are black as hell and I figured I was running rich as hell before so I am trying some new NGK's tomorrow. Fast help is greatly appreciated because I am only home till early tomorrow night because I have to go back to school.

did you just say that you only removed your spark plug wire from the 1st cylinder? i could see no way for the fuel to reach that area. now if you meant to say that after you removed your spark plug from the 1st cylinder and it was flooded then i would think that there is a spark issue at hand, bad spark plug, bad wire, coil, wrong firing order, too rich. try checking those things first!

Its possible for the fuel to come out with the spark plug in, it depends on how much fuel is being compressed... In his case a lot.

Wow so now that I think about it he's got a higher compression in that cylinder. Not good for you engine.

check your injector it could be faulty. most probably shooting out a big stream of fuel like a water hose. figure it out quick and dont run your car because you might bend a valve or a rod. too much unburned fuel would cause excessive amount of pressure in the chamber and is a no! no!

If you have one on hand you could get a stethoscope and listen for a constant sound. Just to see if its stuck open.

Sorry I took so long because I've been searching all freaking night but I believe I have a bad injector. I'm going to test it in the morning and see what I come up with, hopefully thats all it is because that would make my day. I've tried to start the car a few times because I thought it was because I had a bad tune so hopefully I didn't F anything up.

Oh and the fuel came out as I was pulling the plug wire out. The plug hole was soaked in fuel. I'm letting everything dry overnight and getting new plugs because I was pretty rich but obviously something is wrong with the injector. Anyone know where I can get a single FIC 650cc?

be sure to drain and replace your oil. btw, you can removed the spark plug and crank the car if you want to remove the fuel from the cylinder. (don't forget to disconnect the coil)

Sorry I took so long to get back to everyone on this. When I was running the MAF-T without DSMLink I was running pretty rich because I didn't have a WBO2 at the time and needed to get back to school so I set it pretty rich. Well I fouled all my plugs pretty bad but the one was so bad it wasn't sparking at all so the fuel was just building up in the #4 cylinder.

Another problem I had with the fuel is my O ring at my fuel pump to the top of the sending unit isn't sealed properly because I had to drill to put a fitting into my sending unit so I have a new one ordered to redo it. The problem with that is the fuel will go through the pump and it sprays back into the tank whenever my IDC's get above about 10%. More or less after 10% my fuel pressure isn't holding to the rail but I had no way to verify it. So that means no boost in 3rd gear for me till I get this fixed.

on a side note if you are filling the cylinder with fuel like what was previously stated it will push out the head gasket first before it ever comes out of the spark plug. as fuel doesnt compress well at all.

are you constantly having to put more coolant into the car if so i highly recommend you do the compression test and if need be change the head gasket. i would rather change a head gasket than to over heat my motor and cook the rings or warp the head
