ECMlink Fuel pressure drop

When I cycle on my pump via link. Needle goes to 44psi(no problem) when I actually get the car started it drops to 20-22. I have an aeromotive afpr. Tried adjusting but with no resolve. Maybe my injectors aren't spitting properly I'm not sure. Figured I'd bounce some ideas off people who've had same or similar issue. Thanks

Are you saying you set your fuel pressure without the car idling?

With car idling and vacuum off.

Fuel pressure should be the same when car off/pump on via link as well as car on/vacuum line disconnected and capped. You can set fuel pressure via either of these scenarios.

Fuel pressure should drop when car on/vacuum line connected to AFPR. You can compare fuel pressure drop to current vacuum reading to see if AFPR is working properly. Your fuel pressure will drop 1psi for every 2inHg of vacuum. For example, if your idle vacuum is 20inHg, your fuel pressure will drop 10psi to 33.5psi (assuming 43.5psi base pressure) once you re-attach the vacuum line.

That much of a vacuum lost would lead me to a cylinder head issue maybe. I have no vacuum leaks anywhere.
