1G Fuel line upgrade question

Is a 6AN fuel line feed tank to rail and back a good upgrade for 400whp range?

I came here to ask the EXACT same question. RRE said not to worry about that until 'round 600hp range. Replace your soft fuel lines in engine bay if they're old.

Any other opinions?

The fitting mentioned above, will that attach to the fitting that would usually go into the filter from the bottom? I'm getting a fuelab filter with the 6-an fittings since I already have a stainless filter to rail line like that.

Is it possible to replace the hard line under the hood going to the filter with some stainless line and attaching a normal 6an fitting to that instead? Where would the old hardline leave off and the new stainless being, and what fittings etc would be needed?

Thanks
