Hey Kongo you going to the BBQ today? It has been so long since I worked on a 420a. Does the 420a fuel rail have a return line? I am surprised it screws on tight look like it would not. Have you tried to pressurize the system to see if you have any leaks?

Is the stock line raised in the center or is it concaved line the -6 an?

I doubt they will work as they are made for different male connections.

So what's the Vasoline for???

2. yes
3.no. how can i pressurze the system?
4. no comment. it was on the desk.

You can hook it up and crank the car over for a few seconds. then kill it if it starts have some one watching for leaks. if you come are you bringing your car. I would like to see those lines in person.

Are you talking about screwing the -6an onto the stock soft line by the firewall? If so, they are not the same fittings. BUT, LOL, I did just that and it is working fine.

I am running the set-up on the 420a turbo. I was told that it would not work due to the differences on the angles of the two faces (I think that was it). But, like you, I looked at it for a while and thought about soft metals and pressure of threads and stuff and said, "Screw it, I gotta try this". Worked out fine for me. I have since talked to someone else who did that.
