So I just went through finding a replacement fuel filler hose. I had found a few threads where Gates #24717 was listed as a suitable replacement. So I bought it... and it's too big.... like throwing a hot dog down a hallway!
Did some measuring... inside diameter of the above hose is 2" and too big for the fuel filler neck and tank. Used a micrometer to check and the filler neck came in at 1.6xx". Got to searching and found Gates #24716... same exact as the other, just with a 1 3/4" inside diameter. A MUCH better fit!! Hope this helps.
BTW, this is in a 90 1g awd. I have no clue if it's different on an fwd or maybe different from year to year. Take the time to measure and see what works for you.
