I have a bunch of questions relating to this subject so here i go :)

first, my check engine light came on about 200 miles ago. Im pretty sure its my rear o2 sensor however i have a question on what I should do... I have a straight pipe so im guessing the new o2 sensor is going to keep getting fowld by the exhaust. What should I do about that??

Second, the car keeps fuel cutting in any gear higher then 2nd when under heavy acceleration. I replaced the spark plugs as well as the fuel filter and still the problem persists. Im thinking its because of the o2 sensor, i heard when one is out, the car runs very rich (which im pretty sure is the case because when i step on the gas a nice big puff of black smoke comes out the exhaust).

third, I have a HKS EVC installed and when i turn down the boost (currently running at .90 millabars), under full boost, the psi still reaches 16 however the car deffinatly lacks the power, and when i turn it up to 1.10 millabars, the car has alot more pickup, yet the psi still reads 16 under full pressure...

well i think thats about it :) thanks for your help in advance

The first two questions are quite common, frequently-answered questions. But since I can't just tell you to search, I'll answer the second one.

Fuel cut has nothing to do with fuel supply, spark plugs, or anything else but airflow. The ECU sees too much airflow being reported by the MAS and cuts the fuel supply because it thinks something is wrong. The only solution is some kind of fuel management computer such as a S-AFC or DSMLink (or getting your ECU "chipped" if you can get an EPROM ECU).

Your rear o2 sensor does nothing. I've had mine out for almost a year now, the only thing it does is trip the CEL and no it doesn't make your car run rich or anything.
