Ok so i need some guidance on which direction to go with tuning my car. I have a 2.4L turbo. Thats the 63 head on 64 block, blah blah blah. So i am curently running evo injectors (560), stock pump, small 16g. Thing thats got me confused is will the evos make me run rich even though my motor needs 20% more fuel? My wb is too far back for me to depend on(temporarily)but riches out at 10 sometimes a point or too more at wot. Would a maf and trans be a good device to tune my motor? Im on a tight budget. Any help is appreciated. Also i am aware my setup will overrun the fuel pump with +15lbs of boost. Will get 190 eventually.

Yes, they will. Even though you need 20% more fuel, you're also getting 20% more air, which means the MAF is seeing 20% more air and requesting 20% more fuel as if it was a stock 450cc injector.

The GMAFT is a good option. I always see setups for sale in the classifieds. Should be a good upgrade for a tight budget. But if you do ever want to spend some more money, me and almost everyone else would suggest DSMlink.

The GMAF's I see in the classifieds on here are typically pretty beat up and used. I've also seen some on Ebay in excellent to mint condition for around $70 plus the purchase of a translator will be in order ($100-$200) That's a reasonable amount of money if all your really wanting to do is get a little more air.

using the maf and translator to turn will work temporary. but i would more on to something more advanced when you get the oppurtunity to

tune*

Ahhh i see its all so clear now. Its seeing 20% more air and fuel based on the stock amount of fuel flow which is 450cc. Thanks for the clarification. I know maf and trans isnt the best to tune with but i figured it would be good to start with. So if i need 20% more fuel, at wot and full boost, would i overrun my 450's? Can maybe get 12lbs at the moment because of boost creep. Thanks again for the help.
