hey whats up so did yall ever agree on a time to meet up? well ive got a 98 gst, and its kinda down right now, i do and will need help putting it back together,so if anyone wanna help or whatever let me know , i have had the car at the shop a full year now and still no progress, had two of my buddies that where gonna help but due to the military they deployed so now im all left alone and clueless . well let me know even if yall wanna look at it

Well the previous owner put a 6bolt engine swap but for somereason just wasnt running good, i drove it around messed around with it and then one day it started smoking and then it was knockin loud, but it was just a piston that was torn down so i parted the engine thinking it was no good and was gonna get me another jdm 6bolt my self and get it installed at PINA but things didnt work out way i planned and well long story short i have a 7 bolt block and 7 bolt head apart and some accessories but dont have the $2k plus to have a shop do the work, my buddies were gonna help me but duh deployment so i need help putting it all back together and know what im missing. so just let me know thanks. i also am posting this on the tacoma area? section so all know my car is over on base

I live on Fort Lewis, I don't do good in crowds though, when I get home, overseas at the moment, got alot of fun stuff that been sitting in my garage for years I will be putting on, will put a review one day when I get her done and my DSM hardly ever sees the road.

hey did you buy that car like a year or two ago? ### my buddy had one exactly like it from federal way that sold it to some guy then i guess it got broke into and radio was stolen or something then i remember seeing it at i think fast lane or something, is that your car? um it should have the blue suade interior on the door things right?

I bought the car in Alaska back in 99 and had it since, just moved to Washington in 07, and still 100% stock atm, like a time capsule. This is my 3rd and hopefully last DSM.

That sounds like my car. I bought it in Federal way about september 07.
The radio got stolen at PINA.

oh never mind. No suade interior for me.

I will be back sometime between the 3rd and the 6th of July here. I can't wait to get out of Iraq and back to Lewis to play with my talon(bone stock)(for now)

I knew a few DSMers out on Ft. Lewis, but I think they got deployed, or stationed else where. Been a minute since I've heard from them.

Hopefully I'll get to bump into you guys that are out there. It's always good to meet new faces.

well i am only here for another month and half till i leave for Saudi for a year on a contract. Im deciding on weather or not to sell my DSM before i go,then again I might keep it as a weekend ride for when I get back but I am for sure getting a BMW335CI when I get back
