well JMF has made loops in the passed which work and are at a good price and there is a company can make the diff covers. there look llike FLF old one.

FLF makes great stuff . its just the waiting and for some of us the lack of update that suck.

Andrew seems like a good guy and someone said he was in the armed forces. So that is why we surport FLF .

I've never had any problems getting info from Andrew. Just like any other custom CNC/fab shop out there, things take time. Go into your purchases knowing they could potentially take a bit. I ordered my t-case brace right before Andrew got rid of his old CNC machine and been patient since then....and without bugging him, my order shipped today. Remember sugar will catch more flies than vinegar.

Yep 6 to 10 months is being impatient for parts. and for the record other shops make the same parts he does.

There are other people that are in the same boat n have been other post about this on others forums. It is what it is.

As I posted on LINK, the tcase brace lagging is entirely my fault. I couldn't test it because my paint job was taking longer than expected. So if you were waiting on that, I'm sorry.

But NOBODY makes a tcase brace with his appeal and construction. Caps? Yes. Aluminum brace? No.

All a person has to do is get the education in mechanics and engineering, invest several thousand dollars in equipment and a place to use it, spend countless hours and $$$ on R&D, give up a LOT of personal time and time spent with the family, and then put up with a non-stop stream of moronic emails and calls from the "me, me...gimme, gimme...now, now" internet generation.

Key point that I think A LOT of people Fail to even consider when getting ahold of a of people to do business.

I degree and I wanted to know who else was having a problem. Last time I checked that is what forums are for. To help people out and info other members on what is going on.

I didnt know waiting for parts for 6 to 9 to 12 months then asking what is the deal was a big no no. This isnt the first time I got something from FLF. Its funny that some of the same people posting on here are also the same people who I have seen bi*** about not getting something for there DSM. So I guess its ok to pay for a part and not get them for over 6 months. I guess its ok to still be waiting for parts that were paid for. I guess its ok to be told that parts are in stock and ready to go but then told cant because there are missing parts


If this post is so bad a MOD can just lock it or delete it at anytime.

If you have luck with FLF then good for you. So people dont have luck with FLF.

So let's talk about what the options are if the vendor doesn't respond.

If you've paid for the part, file a dispute with Paypal or the credit card company. I would give a vendor 30 days for a pre-paid custom part. Doesn't matter if I paid a deposit or paid in full. No more than 30 days unless we agree on a different time frame before payment is made.

If you haven't paid for the part, this is where it gets interesting.

You sent an email and didn't get a response. So, try again a week later. People go on vacations, etc. If you still didn't get a response, move on because he/she doesn't want your business.

Surprising as it may seem, just because the vendor has the part you want. doesn't mean it's there for you to buy.

Maybe the emails were just piss poor, done in net' speak.

Speaking for myself, those go in the trash.

Maybe he's seen forum postings that might indicate you're wound a little tight and he'd rather not deal with the potential drama you bring.

Maybe you didn't send an email that needed an answer.

Sending "I need a new clutch for my car" is a prime candidate for the trash since there aren't any details. Email exchanges take time, and time is money. Emails like this are a total waste of time since now the vendor has to send you an email to find out if you're trying to order a clutch for a 420a car (which he/she doesn't stock) or a 4g63 car.

Communication is key to a smooth transaction, but the door swings both ways.

I guess people missed the part I posted My paid for both of are parts and are still waiting. We are just going to wait to see if the parts show up b4 the shootout. Again guy does great work just CS is not that great. That is my point of view. everyone has there point of view on diff things.

But you contradicted yourself in many ways through a lot of your statements that have now been edited.

Ive been on dsmtuners, dsmtalk and dsmlink forums and Andrew is one of the few who has a mastery on our dsm's and can fab up the thing's he does. It is truly amazing. There are many other matters to go about dealing with this especially. Also if you and your brother paid for something 8-9 months ago and your upset with your purchases and the way he runs his business, which keep in mind has an EXTREMELY HIGH DEMAND, and limited supply (his own labor), why are you so "Gun Ho" to buy the other one he has?

You must keep in mind, He is one of the only ones who can custom fab most of these parts for our cars with such accuracy. He obviously wants to help out the dsm community, as stated he had to outsource a lot of his work aside from what he would have preferred to do. There are 3rd party problems that come into play with a business that are out of their control. Certain things need to be met and satisfied for him to run his business but at the same time if hes running a 2 man operation you need to keep in mind he wants to have a life as well. As you see 16-17 hour day? 8 hours of sleep 3 hours of eating im assuming, that's hard working

I have talk to him more then once on the phone.

There are other people also waiting on parts for months that paid.

Like I posted before the reasons for buying from FLF first but there are people who do make the same parts he does. they may not be as pretty but they do work.

I posted to see if anyone else was in the same bath and it turns out there is. end of story. His parts are top notch for sure.
