I can help you out maybe, if i knew what you are talking about. be a little more specific. I assume you are talking about aerodynamics? Aerodynamics is a hard subject to study, and most will not be able to answer except a select few. Gixxer Drew would be your best bet, read his build blog. he has developed an aerodynamics kit(not body kit, it is effective in many ways). Aerodynamics consist of coefficient of drag (CD), lift coefficient (CL), side force coefficient (CY). A vehicles aerodynamics face all of these. One way to reduce drag is to reduce frontal area, make the front area of a vehicle smaller. Others are to streamline it, ( looks like a bullet) and to undertray the entire car. In order to make a true aerodynamics kit like drew did, you have to adress all of these areas. a Ferrari F430 actually produces about 300 lbs of down force at 124 MPH, and over 600 LBS at over 180. hope this makes a little sense. read abot aerodynamics in sciences magazines, formual 1 web sites and other publications. i am learning a little bit more each day about aerodynamics, and im a beginner in the subject like you. hope i helped a little bit

Wow, did not know our cars had a better drag coeffecient than a a Ferrari F430. Also danl, how exactly do you measure the frontal area? i want to learn more about aerodynamics as well. Im going to have to start doing some more research.

A ferrari has much more downforce than a 1g...........

Came to this post from the search feature, but I'm pretty sure a 1G has more frontal area than a 3'x2' box. 5.81 sounds like CdA.
