I'm working on adjusting my fuel trim. I'm very new to ecmlink so any advice on what to tweak would be great. At idle my gauge shows max lean. When I've gone to adjust deadtime I have to go considerably high on it. The gauge starts to level out but the livestream will go the opposite direction. AFRatioEST is what the ecu thinks the A/F ratio is currently at correct? Well it doesn't match my wideband gauge at all:confused:. I'm just playing with it, it's not a daily driver and needs work. Just posting to see what people will say about the log.

Also, I'm in probationary status so I couldn't post on the Tuning & Engine Managment forum :sosad:

What's up dude, I strongly suggest reading this guide below, it's got everything you need to know and do. Your Fuel trim is definitely off by a lot. You airflowperrev on idle seems pretty good so I would play around with dead times. How high do you have to go to get your fuel trims close to zero?

Once airflowperrev is good (yours is pretty good) you want to adjust your fuel settings (taking your global settings are correct) then just adjust the dead time till you get the FT close to zero. Also, you want your Front o2 to be cycling up and down and you want a -1 next to where it says "Closed Loop". If you got that you should be idling pretty good.

Read the link, if you have any questions post back, I'm here to help.

***NOTE***
I cannot stress how important it is that you have no boost leaks, nor exhaust leaks when tuning, it throws everything off.

I'm doing leak check this weekend starting tomorrow and I need a new fuel pressure gauge so I'll be getting one of those too. After the leak checks are good and my fuel pressure is good then I'll get back to tuning. I think I fixed my overheating problem for the most part. My next goal is reducing lag and gaining horsepower the car is lagging pretty badly atm.

You can't start off by running, you gotta learn how to walk first. Let's get your idle dialed in then we'll move on to your cruise. Once the car idles and cruises good, then we'll do some WOT dialing in. :)
