Ok guys heres the deal I used the search button before posting this. And can't find anything that relates to my problem. Except for one posting in witch the guy never got back to it. My front wipers aren't working in delay mode ( first notch down). A buddy of mine gave me a wiper motor, I just installed it and still nothing. Now my question is this where can I get some wiring diagrams on this. I've look in my manual and can't find anything on them. Also where is the relay? Some say under the dash, and some say under the steering column. Thanks in advance!!! FYI the fuse is good and all other modes work fine.

Thanks Angel but this really doesn't show me what I'm looking for. I need something that shows locations of relays, fuses, pin outs and wire coloring. A diagram of the wiper circuit itself! Please help.. thanks Again.

welll you already diagnosed everything possible and a new windshield wiper motor. It might be your wiper switch. possibly the contacts inside the switch are not contacting. Find a dsm buddy to help you switch the wiper switch and check let me know.

Thanks luv2rallye! I have one more question for you be4 I begin my search for the problem. Where would the relay be located near the ignition, or lower down by the kick panel? Thanks for you help!

No, that's for a rear wiper. Mitsu will charge an outrageous price so try getting it elsewhere first - maybe even used. The relay may be part of the wiper switch assembly according to the diagrams. I've never seen it. Call Mitsu to find out (part #MR277928).

BUT FIRST make sure it's not a faulty wiper switch, if you can (the connections to the relay may not be accessable, however), which is more likely. Of course if the relay is part of the wiper switch unit that you can't separate anyway, you may be getting the whole thing.

If you look on the lower cowl of your steering column you will see the screws. Simply take those out and separate the two pieces. You will have access to the switch and wiring. Give me a few minutes I will get on ALL-data pro and let you know what voltage your going to be looking for while the switch in on intermittent.

OK. So far i found the location of the windshield intermittent wiper relay look at image marked M. I am still looking at a wiring diagram and voltage so you can check that. I will try and post that sometime tonight or early AM for you. Shop is about to close.

Letter M of the above pictures is what it looks like. There's not much of a relay. Once you remove the cover you'll see the switch. On the back side of the switch theres a circuit board( I'm guessing thats the relay) It doesn't look like you can seperate it. Ima order a new (used) switch. I fegure once I install everything and get it working properly I will do the write up then. I also have the wiper assembly out. Fegure I can also do the write up for that as well.
Thanks guys for your help! Once I get eveything together I will post back here.

Ok so it been awhile. And I actually don't have my dsm anymore. But I figure I put closure to this thread. The relay is built into the switch. So if anyone is having a problem with the delay fuction replace the switch.
