Ok so I was replacing my wheel hub on the front passenger side and I encountered a big number of problems. Obviously everyone knows about having to get a 6 or 7 foot breaker bar to get the axle nut off which I had to do as well. And then the problem of the stuck rotor which everyone experiences. And now when I was trying to get the wheel hub off, no matter what I did it would not move. I even bought a 5 ton puller and it ended up mushrooming the end of my axle. I tried banging on it and prying it and everything and it moved by about 1/16 of an inch.

So I incorporated the same method of removing the stuck rotor. What I did was knock the lug bolts off and got a long bolt and nut and stuck the bolt in the whole of the hub the opposite way that the lug bolt goes it and put the nut on the other side of the bolt and just kept tightening until it slowly started moving out. Well now the hub is somewhat out, but it is still stuck on the end of the axle. I tried everything from banging it to using the hub puller again and it WILL not move at all.

So what I am wondering is if I can get a replacement for only the end part of the axle.

I highlighted the part I am talking about in this picture.

Here is what mine looks like now...

As you can see, the hub is separated from the main joint that holds it in, but it is still getting held on by the end of the axle.

And here you can see that the inner part of the axle has barely moved 1/4 an inch where the whole hub has moved over an inch.

You can also see on that last picture a little how messed up the end of my axle got from that damn hub puller and also trying to hammer it out.

If you guys know where I would be able to get that end part of the axle please let me know or let me know if it would be easier just to replace the whole thing.

I don't think you can go to a regular parts store ( Napa, Pepboys, etc ) and buy just the end CV part. I'd probably call JNZ Tuning and see if they can get you one cheaper then just buying a whole new axle.

I would check prices at local auto parts stores before buying one off of ebay. Although they have a "no hassle lifetime warranty", that's the part I would be worried about.

Well I just bought that one on the link I showed you....it only came out to 76 dollars so I said screw it I'll take it. The reason being is that the weekend is coming up verrry soon and hopefully by ordering it today they can at least have it half way here before sunday comes when they pause ground shipping. Plus only for 76 dollars I can't go wrong (hopefully for at least 5 years) Anyone have any tips/tricks on replacing the P/S axle? I have seen some write ups on it and will be referring to those but if there is anything that would give me a particularly hard time let me know.
