I am keeping my car in stock form for daily driving.

I got a few questions on buying a front engine mount. I haven't checked the rear mount yet.

1. Does anyone sell a OEM full mount or do the mounts only come with 2 slits in it like the one in the picture? Is it better to have a full mount or the one with slits?

2. Would buying the Prothane Inserts help strengthen and make the front mount last longer before it breaks again in the picture above? Will the car vibrate a bit more with the inserts in the mount? How bad is the vibration? (I wish someone had a video.)

3. How bad is the vibration throughout the car if I install a Prothane full front mount?

So those are my choices:

1. Buy an OEM mount. (How long do these last?) I've read that these don't have the vibration issue vs a Prothane full mount.

2. Buy an OEM mount and stick in Prothane Inserts to prevent too much wear and tear for the OEM mount.

3. Buy a Prothane full front mount and grease the heck out of it?

Which would you pick outta of the 3?

I saw some threads about using 3M Windo-Weld (lasts 3-5 yrs) or filling the slits in the mount with Polyurethane (doesn't say how long it will hold up), but they look like questionable fixes. As in they seem to be more of a quick fix vs doing the job right. I'd love to hear feedback on this.

Thanks in advance!

I forgot to mention, even with my front mount blown to bits, my car doesn't vibrate at all

This is a common problem. If you are worried about vibration stay away from prothane. The oem one should last at least a few years depending on how hard you are on it. The inserts are ok but as the mount wears the insserts will pop out. Window weld also has a large vibrqtion issue as well. A good middle road is the poly window door and siding sealant avail at your local hardware store. I have seen people run this for a few years without vibration issues. This is the route I will go.

I have an auto, and have a roadsurge shift box. It uses 100% line pressure, so sometimes the shifts are pretty HARD. I was going thru mounts like crazy. So i got some inserts, and have had NO PROBLEMS since.

Can 3M Window Weld be used to repair a fairly ripped out mount and hold well still? Or the 3M WW only works well in a mount that isn't torn up?

I'll check the prices for the OEM mount and the Prothane full mount. If the full mount is cheaper, I'll give give it a try. Otherwise I'll do the OEM mount + inserts. Thanks for the suggestions!
