to each his own, I prefer 95-96 Reverse lights, I like the curve conformation to the rear body lines

a lot of people probably do 97-99 front for performance gains of a larger oppening for a FMIC, i.e. AirPoppoff

Personally, I don't understand why anyone would bother spending time and money to "convert" a 95-96 body style to another stock year just so they can look like a Hertz rental. I think you people do it because you want to look like you're driving a newer model year without paying the price.

About the rears...95-96 is FAR superior to the Pikachu/Pokemon dimpled ass of a 97-99. Those reverse lights belong on a Neon. Notice no other car manufacturer has built a car with similar ass dimples...why? Because they look g-a-y.

Mits got it right with the 2G debut. After that, the ricer scene apparently influenced the designers' minds so for the 97 revision they added the wannabe supra midwing that every honda riceboy had on his prelude/civic at the time, as well as changed the front end to that factory ricer grill that looks rediculous with the factory fogs and no FMIC.

True, that's a good reason. The 97-99 needs a FMIC to look correct. I do prefer the headlights on the 97-99 years.

i like my 2ga ass, but my 2ga front is goofy lookin. the 2gb front is MUCH better shaped for air to enter my intercooler.

and yes.. those are teh same cars.. not to mention i use to have a 98 GS-T.. if there was a need for qualifications on why to do the conversion which u make it seem by ur reply.. i think i high qualify.. ur opinion is ur opinion.. but i go with what the public says.. and public says.. they love the 97-99 look.. and u see all the praised cars are just that.. coincidence? i think not.. 97-99 > 95-96 looks.. make a poll even.. dont hate playa..

that pic makes me realize why im glad i did the 97-99 conversion.. i love the look.. i lvoed it on my 98 gs-t.. and il ove it now on the gsx.. not cause of what people say.. but more like cause it looks better.. i mentioned the public because its a fact that a majority favors the 97-99 look.. and who can blame us.. it DOES look better..

Sure it does....:rolleyes: The only thing everyone thinks is hot is the front bumper, the rear bumper with the dimples is butt ugly as well as the ### ass wing. You should have kept the low wing , they look 100 times better. And red cars look alot hotter than black cars anyways....

To each his own, I perfer the 95-96 look and alot of others do as well :thumb:

I think they both look good, but then again, I have a 1991 Laser non-turbo front bumper on my TSi AWD, and I love the look. Not to mention it force-feeds air to my stock side-mount. :confused:
