Front discs on rear

I am looking at upgrading the front discs on my 96 GST FWD, and was wondering if the stock front discs would fit the rears?

I realise that the rotor diameter is the same but since the fronts are vented I thought it may add some extra braking effect. Though I'm not sure if it will affect the ebrake or not.

I know the fronts do arund 75-80% of the work but if you think you don't need rears, disconnect them and drive around for awhile. BIG difference (my rears were worn on my old car and it took forever to stop the pig).

Anyway, just curious
 
No, not even close. Did you LOOK at them even? They are not even remotely similar.
