front case gasket

Simple question. Is it possible to install a front case gasket from a 7 bolts on a 6 bolts block without realizing thats its not fitting there. I mean, supposely that i've ordered this gasket and they sent me the wrong one!!! am i supposed to see it immediately or it will fit there, cause i've not looked very much at the hole fittement during installation.

1g 6 and 7 bolt front case gaskets are not the same, now i dont know about the 7 bolt 2g

Actually, it's just a difference between 6 bolt and 7 bolt. 1g and 2g 7 bolt gaskets are the same, but are different from a 1g 6 bolt.
