i am going to be getting an aftermarket front bumper as well as installing a greddy front mount and i was wondering if this would affect the air bags at all?
do the air bags deploy when i take out the bumper support?
if i were in an a frontal accident, would they still deploy without the support?
Also after removing your bumper support, did any of you have any problems with the insurance company?
any input would be appreciated, thanks.

in reguards to your insurance, if youre ever in an accident of any extant where you decide to make a claim, an adjuster will be appointed to look at your car to asses how much money their company should give you. Any moran would spot the missing bumper (assuming a frontal collision) and they will not be obligated to give you any money, and probly won't.

But, it is a risk that many take, like smoking ciggarettes.

Yes your airbags will still work. I don't know whether your ins. will say anything about it. I never came across anything regarding it in my shop.

All the support is is a 5mph bumper, it won't affect the airbags. It will barely help any in a front collision, if at all. Insurance companies probably won't like it, if they even see it missing. If you're worried about the extra protection, just weld in a steel bar in its place or something?
