Front ABS Speed Sensor

whelp i was removing my axle today, and i had to take the entire control arm assembly off with the hub, and i broke the front passenger side ABS Sensor.

is this entirely needed? What issue's will i run into without using it or just leaving it broken?

your abs wont work right if its broke

Yeah i blew a ball joint and mecanic did the same thing..so ive been runing without it for the past year and i realy have no problems except the light, and the abs not at full operation.

You'll get the ABS warning light with ABS diagnostic trouble code of 11 (http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=197283) and the ABS won't work.
