From Nismo to DSM Help me Learn!!!

I just recently parted with my first project machine a Nissan 350Z Supercharged.. Now I sold it for good reasons but wont to know what DSM can offer me. I am currently looking at a 98 GSX eclipse White on Grey leather 30k miles on odometer.

Already has tasteful mods
Carbon Hood/ Fenders.
Rotora 4 piston calipers
Greddy EBC, Greddy 3in catback, Injen intake and Blitz BOV.

Body in wonderful shape and needs minor maintenance to bring it back to standards.

Now me being a Nissan fanatic/ Nissan senior Technician. I know little to nothing on these motors but would love to build a beast out of it. Now my Q's

What can a stock block handle?

How extreme can you go on wheels? Im used to seeing 295/35/ 19x10 +17 on 350z and that is cutting it close...I like proper fitment that looks good and handles good.

Whats a good store to purchase parts from? I live in washington so If anyone knows a good tuner shop that specialize in dsm that would be helpful.

I havent bought the vehicle yet but maybe you guys can further convince me to own a DSM. My last build the supercharger kit alone cost 5k so haha I hope i can build a 11sec car for that price ...

Goal is to have a all around good reliable car with 350awhp...thinking spending 5k max on parts....Figure 3k on turbo and fuel related components and the rest on wheels.

You're going to spend 2k on wheels? The biggest people usually go is 18". Some have been able to put 255's on there but that's the limit. Expect to roll some fenders if you drop the car as well.

well first of all welcome to dsm's. secondly if your going to spend 3k on upgrades do a little research because with that kind of budget you can find enough deals on these forums and local shops to where your going to have a kick ass setup. good luck with your biuld if you do choose to buy the car.

well the stock 7 bolt is weaker but yet it still has been documented to have put down some serious WHP. 350-400 However as it has been stated above vfaq.com is the best digest when it comes to these cars.

As far as shops go, you're only about two and a half hours away from one of the best DSM/EVO shop, Lucas English. He builds some pretty ridiculous cars and is well known throughout the west coast.
