Just got done putting my new head on with MLS gasket. Also used a MLS exhaust manifold gasket. Copper spray on both. Car started first try idled well. First time i go to drive i dont make it 20 feet and the car starts smoking like crazy smells like fuel. Come home pop the hood, fuel is dripping from my o2 dump exhaust and outa my exhaust mani gasket. Here is a video. Please help. Also car was flooded very badly a few days ago. We drained all the fluids, oil coolant trannie transfer case and differential.

Do you have spark in suspected cylinder? That much flow coming out of your exhaust manifold gasket is incredible. I'd like to think also that a Crank angle sensor would read the same for any car for that matter just like an o2 sensor. Was the ECU submerged in water?

Recently flooded like floating down the river? how bad was this? Mold now?

Your resistor box is purely there to put resistance on your injectors, DSM's use low impedance injectors. Meaning they have low resistance.
Low resistance is like putting a 14mm box wrench across your battery.
High resistance is like putting 58 miles of corroded wire from one terminal to the other.

Yes there is spark on that cylinder, it does fire on that cylinder if i dry up the fuel, for about 5 seconds. I went through a gallon of gas in less then 5 minutes idle time. That injector is spraying like nuts! Ill probably have to change my oil.

Well my car was parked at the bottom of two hill right by a storm drain with a flat tire. Water was close to my door handles. We got 6 inches in a matter of minutes. Mold? definately. I do not believe the ecu was in water. not for sure.
I cant imagine the ecu was under water and the only problem i have is the injector, i think it would mess it up more fundamentally than that.

So could the resistor box go bad and make one injector stay on? I can check it with a multimeter? Ill have to pull it off and check it out, where is it located?

I tried looking for this page that has a Cas disected but couldn't find it. It shows the difference in the 1g and the 2g and all the different CAS setups.
The injector should only fire before/as the valve opens, otherwise there will be pooling at the valve and crappy atomization.

I really want to try splicing my injector clip for that injector into the the one the fires as the same time. My battery is dead so i cant take the fuel rail off and turn it over to watch the injectors fire to know which ones fire together.

The injector driver in your ecu may be shorted. I really doubt your ecu is ok from it being flooded.
Did you claim insurance on the flood damage? This is exactly why flooded cars are considered salvage on the spot, its impossible to fix everything without ripping it apart to take care of mold and electronic issues.
I washed my car underhood one time(greaseball) and it didn't start afterwords. The CAS was full of water, yours might be dirty inside crack it open and take a look.
Was it really muddy inside?

Oh here we go, I knew it was RRE:

RRE 1G CAS In a 2G Wave Forms

So much reading, tell me did you swap the wires on the ecu harness right at the ecu, so can fire in the right order, if not Im coming to your town to smack you.

Just a bad connection I assume. Spray some brake clean inside the weather connector and lube it up w/ dielectric grease to stop this from happening again! cool man!

There was a decent amount of mud under the carpet. I really dont think the ecu got wet. Would i be able to run a wire from the ecu pin out to the resistor then from there straigh to the injector clip to see if its a bad wire somewhere? No one knows for usre if two injectors fire at the same time?

So i was checking continuity through the resistor box clip and the injectors. Used injector clip 1-good and 4-bad. The reading didn't match each other through it. Once i get the injector working right im going to go ahead and change the order of everything like u guys suggest. Here is a video of me checking with my multimeter. Tell me what you guys think.

Excuse my horrible drawing but this is my plan.
The red lines is the current path of the signal to the injector clip. I plan on bypassing everything and running wires just straight from ecu to the injector, and from the res box to the injector. trying to narrow down possibilities. The black lines are what i plan to do.

So i checked for voltage at the clip and all injectors show the same besided the one that aint working. So i checked for voltage at the ecu pinouts and 3 of htem show the same with the bad one showing nothing. All the ecu does is send a constant signal to the injectors right? So if i hijack the signal from a different injector pinout will it work?
