Free Intake Mod, Input please?

I was bored today...and i was looking for something to do to my car. I decided to take a look in the intake and saw that the blowoff valve tubing goes very far into the intake pipe and looked like a major air restriction. I took a dremel and a cutting blade and basically hacked it off from the inside of the intake pipe so that the blowoff tube was no longer hanging down into the narrow part of my intake pipe. So when i was done..i took it for a ride and my blowoff valve sounded significantly different. As far as performance goes my butt-dyno felt like it added a little extra pep to the car due to the more free flowing air. It could just be wishful thinking..but it really does seem to help noticably. What do you guys think of this free mod?

P.S. I am running a GReddy blowoff valve venting back into the intake.

Its definitly a worthy free mod for 2G's. It confuses me how the stock BOV dumptube reaches through there and blocks off so much flow.

I just took a pair of pliers & shattered it. It's probably the most popular free mod to do.
