Thanks for the compliments.

I have a video (MPEG) of the 11.9 run, but not sure how to get it on the site. If anyone can help let me know.

Thanks again,
Chris

Remove the 3 honeycombs (both sides and bottom) and leave the center one in place. Adjust the screw on the bottom until it is flush with the inside of the housing. Then just use a S-AFC to compensate.

I know how to do it, but it will idle like ass. If I want a hacked mas, I will just put my old 1g mas back in, there is barely anything left of it.

Thanks for the advice though.

Anybody wanna put my video up for me?

I hacked my 2g mas and it idled fine with just a little help from my SAFC. Try it and if it doesn't work for you, put the honeycombs back in.

The 2g mas flows more air than the 1g (hacked or not). If you compensate with the S-FAC it will idle fine.

is the 2700hz reading on your logger or your s-afc?

i agree with everyone else, pull some honeycombs out of your MAF...

The reading is on the SAFC. The pocketlogger maxes out at 1600hz? the line will not physically go any higher and when I trace it, it maxes at 1606hz, I guess thay have a limit.

I am not going to pull honeycombs out, I will get it done another way.

It can't idle well with part of the metering device removed. You can't compare your setups to mine unless you have the same parts. When you put a ported head, dual 272's and a hacked mas together, it equals a bad idle. I have been there. If yours idles well....I'm jeolous!
