Ok so this may be a dumb question but I haven't seen it answered anywhere so figured I ask. I am about to install my Aeromotive AFPR today and I'm thinking I am going to want to remove the FPS to make some room for mounting. So my question is after I disconnect it and take it out do I just leave the plug in the engine bay? Or do I need to do something with it? I have link so I can clear any code that could be thrown.

Also just a side question, I have the aeromotive kit from extreme psi and I've read some different things as to where to use Teflon tape but what I seem to understand is I just need to use it on the gauge, the vacuum connector, and the adjustment screw correct? Just want to clarify that. I have white and yellow tape and was planning on using the white.

Just tuck the plug some place out of the way. Teflon tape on NPT fittings, and adjustment screw, not AN fittings.

Ok so that's the sides of the blue fittings that do not have O ring fittings correct? Including where the brass fitting screws on for the return line and where it connects to the fuel rail adapter? Forgive me I guess I'm getting confused with NPT vs AN

Tapered (AN) fittings do not get teflon, nor do ORB (O-Ring Boss) fittings. You would teflon tape the vacuum fitting on the FPR, the set screw, and the threads on the gauge if you are putting one on the FPR.

Unplugging the fuel pressure solenoid will throw a check engine light on 2gs,just disconnect the vacuum hoses and plug them in to your new fpr, but leave the solenoid plugged in.
