Here's some decent information I posted a while ago for reference ... I think it is fairly informative for those considering a 50 trim kit even though it was a while ago.

Anyhow, kudos on your decision. As everyone has stated .. either would be tremendous selections for a fast street driven 4G63.

Thank you! That was very reassuring to hear.

JDM- It is the full Garrett 50 trim stage 3 .63 A/R:thumb:

Nice post GSX. Lots of good info. Are you running a new clutch now, and if so, have you returned to the dyno?
Yes, a new clutch (2600) as well as SM Intake (Magnus) and new FMIC kit (AGP) ... sadly, I fell victim to a spun rod bearing before any followup was done. So.......

No dyno numbers :barf:.

Thank you! That was very reassuring to hear. What size wheel were you running?
Hmmm, didn't even notice I omitted that from my original post. To address your question, I have the Stage III wheel on my setup.

Anyone know if the full garrett GT30 turbine housing is the same as the one used as the conventional garrett bearing housings?

In other words is the GT30 (full garrett) exchangeable for say a 50 trim stage 3 .63 A/R with the same manifold and o2 housing setup?

If so I would love to see back to back dyno numbers between the new GT30 52 trim BB and the old 50 trim stg3 turbo.

We use the T31 turbine housing for our full Garrett GT30 combos, so you can use the same manifold and o2 housing with either turbo.

Not 2 copy but wow am I late ( better to hear that from me than a girlfriend eyy?) I just order my fp 3052 , and the reason , well it's a ballistic turbo.

:thumb: Any ways hope fully when it comes in I ll be able to take it to the dyno and basically tune the car , hopefully ill be able to brake into 350 + awhp range.

I should be able to give some feed back on this 3052 soon.
