Ok guys, I scored one hell of a deal on a 1992 AWD TSI I got the car for 500 so now my delima. The car needs rebuilt I have rebuilt three DSM motors so its not that I dont know what I am doing. My question is this, im planning to run an FP Green on the car, im looking for some real world number for a 1G/2G piston combo. Is this a good setup ? I cant see wasting the money to buy forged parts. Im looking to get into the 475 is HP levels maybe a litte more if possible. Will the 1G/2G combo work for this setup ? honestly? Also when its all said and done the car will most likely have a 100 shot on it. So will these pistons and rods work with this setup? or will the rods pistons be the weak spot in my motor ?

I ran the FP Green Turbo on my car. I dynoed at 379 whp on race gas. The engine was stock from the throttle body to the oil pan. I also have my green for sale along with some injectors if interested.

I am asking $950 for it, i see them on forums going used for $1000. When i installed the FMIC i sent it back to forced performance to have the elbow cut off and just make the compressor exit straight. I also asked them to check it out and make sure everything is ok and they told me it was. Oh yeah it is setup externally. I also have some decent size injectors that i am selling for $250 they are 680 cc injectors.

Well the DSM's timeslips sight will tell you the numbers.

IMHO you might wanna go forged. You said about 450 HP, maybe even more. Maybe even more is pretty vague.

And as far as buying and selling you guys should be using the PM feature ;)
