found this apache thing?

i took my kick panel off and i found this switch i followed the wires and came across this box that had a couple of hookup points and on the cover of it it said apache then i looked for more hidden treasures and ifound another box that had the apache logo on it but it had a knob on it saying min and max on it....what is this thing? i have no clue what it is

Betcha its' either an alarm or indiglo gauges.

Sounds like a security system in your car your my 240 had the same hookups and had the same box but it was a schorse

Does the car have an aftermarket alarm. If it does it's either for the volume or sensitivity of the alarm.. But I haven't heard of apache alarms before. Maybe it's part of an apache helicopter?

My Volvo had an Apache alarm system in it but i ripped it out because i couldnt find a new keyfob for it
